When to go to the seaside
Rates on the seaside vary a lot from one month to the next. If your dates are flexible, choosing the period matters just as much as choosing the hotel.
Lowest rate
28 May – 17 June and 5 – 18 September. Quieter beaches and the lowest rates of the summer: All Inclusive from 510 lei per night for a double room, with the 25% Early Booking discount.
Medium rate
18 June – 7 July and 29 August – 4 September. Beach weather and lower rates than in high season, suited to families who can travel before or after the summer peak.
High season
8 – 22 July and 8 – 28 August. The most sought-after period for a seaside holiday. With Early Booking you pay 20% less than the standard rate.
Peak season
23 July – 7 August. The two busiest weeks on the seaside and the highest rates. This is where booking early brings the biggest saving in lei.
The Early Booking discount applies to the standard rate and depends on when you book. For bookings made by 31 December 2026, the discount is the biggest: 25% at the start and end of the season and 20% for the rest of the summer. After this date there are two smaller tiers, until 28 February 2027 and until 30 April 2027, then the standard rate applies.
All the rates shown are for a double room with two adults. If you are coming with children, need an extra bed or prefer an apartment, the rate is calculated according to the children's ages and the room type, and you will receive the offer by email.
Resorts
Avenue Hotels has properties in five resorts on the southern part of the coast. Each has a different pace, so it is worth choosing according to the way you like to spend your holiday.
A green, quiet resort, suited to families. In the very heart of the resort there are two hotels: Hotel Recif, All Inclusive, with swimming pools, entertainment and a restaurant, and Hotel Callatis, for those who prefer accommodation only and the freedom to eat wherever they like.
In Olimp you can choose between Hotel Holiday Blue, All Inclusive, next to the beach, and SeaView Apartments, newly renovated apartments right on the beach, for those who want to see the sea from above.
Hotel Sirena is on the beach, in the central area of Saturn resort, and is All Inclusive. It is also the right choice for those looking for balneotherapy services.
Avenue Venus means newly renovated villas, with greenery and space to relax, close to the beach. The villas can be rented entirely or by room and are ideal for couples.
Avenue Palm is a newly renovated villa right on the beach, by the sea, suited to families who want the sand a few steps from their room.
Bookings made directly with Avenue Hotels come with exclusive discounts. You talk to the team that runs the hotels, receive the offer by email and can pay the deposit online, by card.
